Munster Open 2012

On the 28th and 29th January 2012, M.W.G. in association withRINIWA andWarpcon will be organising the annual Munster Open competition as part of Warpcon.

This will take the form of a 400 AP DBMM competition for armies of "The Early Medieval Period - 477 AD to 1073 AD" This will allow all armies from DBMM Lists Book 3, subject to the army sub period being within the required dates. In addition armies may be chosen from the DBMM Lists Book 1 and Book 2, again provided the options chosen fall within the required dates.

DBMM Version 2.0 in conjunction with the latest version of the DBMM Commentary will be in use. Pre-set terrain will also be used. Dice for invader/defender in the normal way, the defender then has choice of which side of the table to deploy on. 

The competition itself will consist of four 3 1/2 hour games, two on the Saturday and two on the Sunday. There will be a possible extra 15 minutes at the end of each game decided randomly. We will be using Blitz rules at this competition- a copy of which will be on this site shortly.
